Dual carriageways with a 70mph limit for cars are 60mph for vans and single carriageways which are 60mph limits for cars are 50mph for vans, but motorways are 70mph for cars and vans.
Vans with windows in the sides are exempt from restrictions and are treated the same as cars but if you convert your panel van to a van with side windows it would be in your interest to let the DVLA know of any changes so they can update their records accordingly.
